After Service

Welcome to use HDV series products! In order to have your satisfaction , please read this after-sale service policy before you purchase our products .

HDV hereby solemnly promise:

We guarantee to keep the camera life-long service. We also promise to supply timely and free instruments and training staff.

Charges:
HDV does not charge fees for product repair required during the warranty period and will pay half the total cost of shipment fees. If products are no longer under warranty, HDV Electronics will charge a fee for product repair and will not be responsible for shipment fees.

Warranty Period:
All GKB products include a at least  two-year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase:

After-Sale Service Policy of HDV series products:

Article 1: Return Policy

If you need a return of order, you may please pay attention to our return policy first. To know our return policy is crucial for you to judge whether your order can get a refund after been sent back. The content below is return policy of HDV series products.

I. Types of refund: Three types of refunds depend on the nature(s) of problem(s) and the type(s) of product(s) you bought: FULL REFUND, SEGMENTAL REFUND, and NO REFUND.

a. FULL REFUND: when ALL practical problems are caused by HDV Electronics so that you have to return the product(s) (e.g.: We make the camera in wrong type.)

b. SEGMENTAL REFUND: when some of the practical problems are caused on the way of shipping(e.g.: deformation or breakage of package or product), and if the returned product(s) are not in good conditions (e.g.: damage of product, losing of component or accessory).

c. NO REFUND: refer to Article 4.

II. Notifications

a. All products that be of FULL AND SEGMENTAL REFUND should be returned to you together with the shipping fee (from HDV Electronics to you), but HDV Electronics will not be responsible for the shipping fee (from you to HDV Electronics).

b. 7 days is the deadline of your request for refund, which means you should raise the proposal of refund request to us within 7 days since your reception of HDV's parcel(s).

c. An approximately 25% restocking fee (full refund products excluded) will be issued according to the conditions and specifications of returned item(s).

Attention please: certain formalities of refund are necessary, so you are expected to get your refund within 20 working days. Thanks for you understanding!

Article 2: Replacement of Product

While the product(s) you bought from HDV Electronics is/are not the one(s) you ordered, you can raise the application of replacement of product(s).

HDV Electronics will absorb the shipping charge for the return journey of your product (s), but you need to manage the shipping fee for it to come to us.

Please contact us to find out the charge and time it needs for replacement before you ship the broken product(s), so that we can make the preparations in advance for you to get it back earlier.

Article 3: Repair of Product

We offer repair service if the product(s) you bought from HDV meet(s) some problem. ONE year's warranty period is for all cameras sold out from HDV Electronics, and all products enjoy FREE repair within their warranty periord (a reasonable repairing charge will be issued referring to the extent of damage, and the time of repairing depends on the product).

HDV Electronics will absorb the shipping charge for the return journey of your product (s), but you need to manage the shipping fee for it to come to us.

Article 4:Warranty Scope

This warranty covers only those defects that arise as a result of normal use of the product, and does not cover any other problems, including those that arise as a result of:

a. Improper maintenance or modification;

b. Parts or supplies not directly provided or supported by HDV Electronics; Such as:shell, adapter,bracket,CCD,DSP IC etc.

c. Unauthorized modification or misuse.

d. Hostile opration environments, or natural disaster such as thunder, fire, flood and other acts of God.

e. Damage of the appearance of the products.

f. Uncrating, setup, installation or the removal and re-installation of products after repair.

g. Above after-sale policy only apply to products supplied directly from HDV Electronics.
